What does Unlimited Bandwidth Refer to ?
When you read the user agreement of hosting offers with “unlimited traffic” there is almost allways a section saying that you are not allowed to missuse the account so that other hosting clients do not suffer.
This means that you can’t use the unlimited traffic to the unlimited. This offer is not good if you use a lot of transfer per month as you cant say when you must pay extra for the transfer. There is nothing as unlimited bandwidth and this just a statement to attract customers. The actual word is unmetered bandwidth. This is actually said as the companies say that the bandwidth is not measured but this is not the case. The bandwidth is measured. This also means that the dedicated server hosting has the whole of the bandwidth connection or a shared one. Do not believe the companies who claim that they offer unlimited bandwidth.
